I am starting my 5 Bite diet again today. My goal is to lose 30 pounds. First few days are going to be tough..will see.

I am getting there..First few days are not easy.

Breakfast - Multivitamin + Coffee with cream
Lunch - 15 bites of pasta + 5 bites of plain yogurt.
Dinner - Milk Shake.

Starting Again from today.

Current Weight: 168.

Breakfast : Coffee with little cream & multivitamin
Lunch : Skipped
Snack : Coconut Water
Dinner: 10 bite of Lentil soup.
Water: 2 litres.

hey there! from reading dr. lewis' book, one of the most important things is keeping the number of bites consistent at every meal so your stomach gets used to just one volume amount of food in it at every meal.

Thank You. I haven't read the book but I did read abt keeping the bites consistent. It is very hard to control the bites for Dinner. Will try from tomorrow. Today has been really bad

Day 2 today

Day1 : 168
Day2: 166.8 loss: 1.2

Breakfast - Multivitamin
Lunch - 4 bites of banana + 2 bites of yogurt
Snack/Dinner - Have been munching Wasabi peas the whole day ( More than 500 Calories)

Hope I still lose in spite of the screw up.

you'll still lose as long as you have a calorie deficit, so no worries!

Day 3 & Day 4

I did not lose any these 2 days

Day1 : 168
Day2: 166.8 loss: 1.2
Day3: 166.8
Day4: 166.8

Day3
Breakfast - Multivitamin
Lunch - 5 bites of wasabi peas
Snack - Coconut water
Dinner - Lentil Soup 7 bites

Day4
Breakfast - Multivitamin , Coffee with 2 % milk
Lunch - 5 bites of wasabi peas
Snack - Coffee with 2 % milk
Dinner - 5 bites of wasabi peas.

I realized the reason I did not lose weight is I haven't been drinking water at all. I will try to drink 2 litres today.

yeah, water is important, especially when you eat high sodium foods (water retention).

You are right about sodium, wasabi peas is the culprit Very Happy

Today started well.. I did lose some. I had set up small goals, my first goal was to be less than 165 and I have reached it.

Day1 : 168
Day2: 166.8 loss: 1.2
Day3: 166.8
Day4: 166.8
Day5: 164.2 loss: 2.6

Breakfast : Multivitamin
Lunch: Wasabi peas (Can't control my craving for salt & spice, had my lunch early today)

and there's no reason to cut wasabi peas out entirely Smile just balance them with water and remember the power of sodium when it comes to weight stalls/jumps

Right, even I thought I am having healthy and non fatty food for last 2 days but still I did not lose any weight today. Yesterday I would have drank at least 4 liters of water. I remember losing 10 pounds in a week last time when I did this diet.

Day 8: 163.8 ( No loss)
Total weight loss this week - 5 pounds

I am frustrated with my weight loss, ate more at lunch.

Breakfast: Coffee with cream
Lunch : 10 bites of Beetroot Salad

in the book and on his twitter, dr. lewis says that it's generally better to weigh yourself once a week while you're doing the 5bd so as not to get discouraged. it sounds like you eat more when you haven't lost as much as you were expecting. that's only working against your goals.

maybe weigh yourself once a week instead. you can't NOT lose fat. weight fluctuates due to water levels, sodium levels, hormones, etc.

You are right, I should weigh once a week. I had my dinner last evening at 5 PM and I checked my weight today just before lunch around 12PM, I still did not lose weight. My total calories were not more than 500 and I did not eat anything for 19 hrs, still no loss. I have been very hungry yesterday in this below blog she says hunger melts fat,but did not see any change.

it's really impossible to not lose weight on this unless you have a metabolic disorder or are eating much more than you realize. but, if it's not working for you, there are other diets out there (80 bites comes to mind).

This did work for me earlier, I think its just a phase. Today I decided to eat my regular meal( say 60-70 bites) for lunch and I am suffering now as my stomach had shrunk. I will start again tomorrow and check for a week. I am very determined to lose this time, I should reach my target.

I am very sure I would have gained weight . I ate even at midnight, total calories would have crossed 2500. I am feeling heavy too. So decided to stick only with fruits for next 2 days.

Day 10: No Weighing.

Breakfast : Warm water with half lemon squeezed
