Re: Everblue's daily journal
Well it's been a full week and here are my stats:
While I wish it could have been a couple of pounds more, really, that's silly, and I'm thrilled with losing ten pounds in one week. I'm excited to see what I can do in week two!!

Thanks everyone.
Today's been a good one. Coffee, protein bar, 5 bites green curry tuna. Yum!

Re: Everblue's daily journal
Dreading this post, but it's my journal. No excuses.
I had known that we were going to go out to eat last night and had purposefully chosen a tapas place so I would be able to eat less than I usually would when eating out. I had hoped I could do five bites, but I ain't gonna lie, I figured I'd probably eat more, but I wanted to keep it light, still.
Anyway, so I woke up and my husband had gotten me a egg and cheese mcmuffin on his way back from work. I could have held it for lunch, but instead I chose to eat it. I ate five bites of it, and threw the rest away. And I didn't eat lunch, so that was a success. We went to the restaurant and here's the damage - I had two margaritas, two pieces of sushi and a bite of seaweed salad, prob about 1/3 c of calamari and roasted red peppers, and another 1/3 c of lobster mashed potatoes. So yeah, not great, but a lot less than I'd usually eat while out. Plus I was stuffed. Anyway, so that's what I did, and I know I did it and I'd appreciate it if I didn't get any useful tips on what I could have done differently. I'm aware.
BUT! Like for-real thin people, I made up for my overindulgence by today doing a great job today of watching what I'm eating. I had a protein bar for lunch, and I will eat another for dinner. So I'm super proud of being able to get right back on the 5BD wagon, without looking back and justifying why I should now get to eat even more today.
Yay!

Everblue,
Everyone has a learning day. The great thing is that you got right back on the wagon. Way to go!
Hang in there and staty strong.

Re: Everblue's daily journal
Yesterday went exactly as planned, I'm very happy - two protein bars, a cup of coffee and water, of course. I think I really need to make an effort to drink more water. Will work on that.
Today has been just as good - five bites of tuna and crackers for lunch. I'll probably eat a protein bar for dinner. Love the ease of the five bite diet!
