Welp...day 2 has arrived...not feeling bad at all...had to jump on the scale this morning...341.8 lbs...knocked out 2.8 lbs in a day...not too shabby. Last night I had 5 pretty large bites of steak...felt like I cheated, because of the size of those bites : ) but I guess not...As far as my height...I'm 6 ft even...

Really hard to believe...I just had 4 bites of pork tenderloin (I had added some broccolli on each of the fork bites as well) and 1 bite of salad...and I'm good...feel almost full What a Face My stomach was telling me @ 11:30a "Hey buddy...time to eat"...I'm really starting to get excited that I might have finally found a diet I can stick with...and it doesn't hurt that folks are out there adding motivation to the mix...thanks...I would LOVE to weigh in next Monday weighing under 330 lbs...we will soon find out Laughing

Rock on! Just make sure that having 5 large bites doesn't turn into 5 really large etc.. consistency is the key to this diet. We are the same height, but I'm a tad larger than you still. So I know how it is for us big guys to eat little.

Thanks alot DMAC...just finished lunch...a wendys ultimate grill sandwich (350 calories) and a diet coke...I'm stuffed...probably should have only eaten 4 bites...next time I know...feel alittle bloated pale Anyway...hope to see another 3 or 4 lbs shaved by morning...the rate I'm going right now...I might be under 330 by Friday and in the low to mid 320's by Monday (19Sept...my 7 day mark)...so if my caluculations (and wishings) are correct...I just might be pretty close to the 300 lb mark by 26Sept afro

Just finished lunch...a McDonald's Grilled sandwich and a diet coke...hit the spot...so far everythings seems to be going well...no head aches or dizzy spells...I still have my "eye on the prize"...I'm going to continue this journey in hopes of achieving "my" ultimate goal...I know some folks only weigh themselves weekly...but for my journal...I'm going to do it daily...I know when I first started looking for weigh lose success on-line, I never saw actual "daily results"...good or bad"..."or"...you would follow for about a week or 2...then "poof!!!" the tracking consistancy fades...so hopefully folks will be able to know exactly what I ate and how it affected my weight the following day...every day...till I've reached my desired weight...I'm going to continue with my upper body workouts every other day as well as my treadmill (or walk in the park) on my workout off days...

Dedication = Success afro

yes you still have 3 full days to get that off but for me I lost the most the first 3-4 days then that was about it for week one, your body starts figuring out something is going on and slows down it seems but you may be just fine so don't worry. Plus it picks back up so you'll go up and down a lot so hang in there and just keep thinking long term! that is the only thing getting me by. I lose very slowly so when I have weeks I only lose .8 lbs etc I keep thinking, that is .8 less I have to lose in the long run and it will add up. One ounce at a time, it will add up. I just keep thinking how great I'm gonna look come my bday in february, one ounce at at time Smile

Your absolutely right Spryng...appreciate the vote of confidence alien Today was great...I'm "still" full from lunch (which was @ 11:30a...it's now 5:13p...and dinner is usually @ 7p) I might not even eat...I had a 6" sub from Subway (turkey on wheat w/ all of the veggies they offer) and a...you guessed it...a diet coke Laughing Now the other day I was a little hungry around 8p...so I made a protein shake (lean shake from GNC)...that's a weight lose product that has had pretty good results in the past for me...so I figure if I'm ever feeling alittle hungry...I'll drink one of those to get me by...only 180 calories and is really filling...might have one tonight instead of eating dinner...I'm really pushing for the 320 to 325 lbs mark on Monday...This will be my first weekend on the diet...I'm determined to "stick to my guns" afro
