Thanks girls!!!!  169.6!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I have not seen that number for around 7 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  48.6 lbs down in 11 weeks 1 day!

Snow White, let me know how you like that book!


I have started a new goal along with my 4 miles a day. I am going to start introducing 1 bite of fruit or vegetable per day to be included in my bite count, and upping it each week as needed.

I bought the eat slower pro app...I'm thinking of doing what you did by starting out w/80 bites then decreasing it a little each week. Just to clarify...you went from 18 bites bites a day in week 10 down to 10 bites a day in weeks 11 & 12?

Hopefully I will be able to match your results! I have just yo-yo'd big time...probably the worst in my life. I was almost there and I just couldn't maintain it. I believe maintenance will be harder than losing it. What is your ultimate goal? Have you given any thought to maintenance?

Again, you are amazing and I am soooooooooooooooooo proud of you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Snow White thank  you so much!!!  I have heard that maintenance is harder! I plan on doing exactly what I am doing now.... Adjusting my bite count a week at a time to stay exactly at the weight I want to.

My ultimate goal is 150 lbs. my maintenance plan is to stay between 150-155 lbs. I was around 155 when we got married. I am 5 feet 6 inches. I don't want to set a goal so low I can't stay there long term. I want to be reasonable!  I stayed around 155 for years before we were married.

Once a week I decide how many bites I want to eat each day of the next week and make a commitment on stickk.com. I allow myself at least 2 mistakes, and take into account extra special days like thanksgiving. Christmas, anniversary, church functions ect ect and plan Alot more bites for those days. These keeps me on track in a big way, I could never just eat 10 bites 365 days a year Smile

Yes I started with 80 bites and stepped it down weekly. Then when my weight loss started slowing I've added in miles of exercise and 1 bite fruit / veg per day. If my weight loss slows again, I will add more bites fruit/veg and/or more miles. I will make a chart up of close to exactly how many bites i ate daily and weekly so you can see, I will make another post below

Hopefully the Eating Slower Pro app works for you,it has really helped me!  I will be on the sidelines cheering you on! You can do this! I will pray for you that you will be successful !!!!

Continuted from last post...........Besides the Eating Slower Pro app, I also  keep track of all my bites in this 99 cent app (or 1.99 I cant remember) Its called Daily Tracker, and I can keep track of my bites for 2 years, it averages weekly, monthly ect and has graphs....

I guess its 2.99 but I track my miles, my bites, my weight on here, it helps me keep my progress over a long term, its encouraging! I like the eating slower pro because it keeps me on track for each  meal , and helps keep me eating slower ect


As you can see, Sundays I count as the last day each week and they are almost always bigger and I also had bigger days for special occasions.  Also some weeks I just assigned random bites to my stickk commitments, instead of all 20 or 25 one week. That made it kinda fun, I got more bites some days!

you've had such a great plan! I'm having a second look at my plan to have gradual decreases in bites as well, cause I seem to be setting myself up for failure by wanting to start off with 10.

Great Job!!!!! Are you doing Leslie Sansone tapes? I used them when I was pregnant, they are good.

I'm glad I've decided to rethink my plan, and am working my way down slowly, it makes it so much easier, especially emotionally. I don't feel like I'm under so much pressure, and don't end up sabotaging myself because of it.

I think that's a great plan, Blaqpepa! We have to do what is sustainable. That's the problem I've had with this. I've lost a lot of weight only to regain it quickly. I've done this several times and I'm just sick of it.

Herb'sgirl, are you suffering or is this sustainable for you with 15 bites?

I'm very proud of your weight loss!!! What are your friends and family saying about it???

Acutally the other day on Sunday I allowed myself 40 bites and it felt like a TON of food!  I am committed to eating small amount of  bites because I like rich food! If I wanted all lettuce and skinless chicken breast, I know I could  eat a lot more bites and still lose, but that's not what I usually want! Very Happy 

So all in all, I am committed to eating a small amount of bites. Am I suffering? Sometimes its hard, but what is the alternative? Gain my weight back! Be Fat! I don't want the alternative, so I choose small number of bites!

I think part of what helps keep me going is that I allow myself sooo many bites for Sundays, Sepcial occasions, when we eat out, when we go to others houses for a meal ect... If I told myself I could only eat 10 bites, I wouldn't be able to sustain it!

Another thing is that I know if I am going to be skinny and maintain it, I am going to have to accept the amount of food that it takes to keep me at my goal weight, no matter how small a number of bites that may be   When I used to lose weight with Intuitive eating, I knew it didn't take much food. I am really hoping that I can eat 30 bites daily at least for maintenance and up to 60-80 daily for special occasions. I know that this is my HOPE! I don't know exactly the number it will take to keep me at 150 . I also know that exercising for around a whole Hour every day really boost my metabolism and improves my quality of life

What are my friends and families saying? They are saying Good for you! My sister in law did say some negative stuff someone told her about my weight loss, but I cant let that bug me right? Very Happy
