If you had to estimate, how many calories would you say you are consuming in a day?

I would say 200 to 500 Max if you stick to strict 5n5

Thank you! It's a struggle for me to get my head around this new way of thinking. We've been given so much bad information by these companies who have an ulterior motive - keeping us fat and reliant on them = money in their pockets, it's like teaching a middle aged dog a new trick Wink
I'm so happy to have a doctor, and people who have been there/done that backing up what I've suspected for a few years now, that it's perfectly fine to eat less than 1200 calories a day.
Sometimes I guess I just need reassurance, and I thank you for your reply.

I wish EVERYONE the best with their journey, there's room for each and everyone of us to be successful. The only thing holidng us back is ourselves. We are worthy, and we ARE strong enough. We just have to believe it!

I read online today that Dr. Lewis estimates that folks on this diet are eating approximately 800 calories per day.

That's sounds more like what I'm eating. At least from my estimate. But that is still just five bites at lunch and dinner. I'm not eating low cal stuff. So I'm sure my bites are that much.

I agree, we've all been told soooo much about how going under 500 calories is so bad, etc. One great thing about this diet for me is that I really don't care how many calories I'm eating. the main thing is to eat enough to be able to move around. too much of a calorie deficit makes my 2 hour commute very hard to do.
