Ok, today was my first day!

Morning: A cup of black coffee + a multivitamin
Lunch: 3 bites of a soft-boiled egg + 2 bites of peanut butter
Dinner: 3 bits of peanut butter + 2 bites of a banana

I drank water throughout the day and will drink tea until it's time to sleep.

Today went well! Very Happy

Day 2 went well!

Morning: Coffee, brewed with cinnamon
Lunch: 3 bites of a banana + 2 bites of peanut butter
Dinner: 5 bites of tuna with chopped apple

I've been drinking blackberry black tea throughout the day, which has been both tasty and relaxing. I think I am going to freeze unsweetened tea into popsicle form if it gets to a point where drinking tea isn't satisfying enough. Lol, I'm preparing for the days where things get difficult.

I've decided to just weigh myself once a week.

Thank so much blaqpepa! I hope so!

So, today for lunch I ate 5 bites of this tuna apple fritter thing that I made up, lol. I decided that the more varied/complex my bites are, the more balanced and nutritious they will be. So, this fritter consisted of tuna, apple, egg, cornmeal, and whole wheat flour. So, 5 bites of that.

The ingredients really do stretch because the cornmeal and flour equaled to maybe 1/4 cup altogether. It made a lot of fritters, lol. 5 bites covered one fritter. The batter made 3 more, and one burnt like the dickens because I forgot about it, lol. <--Thinking like a thin person, totally forgot that I was even cooking!

So, I'll have 5 bites of a fritter for dinner.

I know I said I would keep my weigh-ins weekly instead of daily, but I weighed myself this morning and (drumroll please)

I weigh 148.8!!

Yessssss, felt so good. cheers

I know some of that weight loss is water and from lack of food weight in my digestive system, but it feels so great to see the number go down! Especially since the week prior to my starting the 5 bite diet resulted in weight gain (a mix of overeating + it being that time of the month).

I look forward to tomorrow, and I am really happy to find a diet that works.

Want to add that tonight, I am drinking a cup of bouillon broth, which is about 7 calories per cup with the way that I made it (more diluted because I found it too salty). That's about the same amount of calories that one finds in about 3 cups of tea, so not a big deal if we are allowed to drink as much tea as we want. I am glad that I checked the calorie count of a cup of coffee because, for some reason, I thought a cup of coffee equals to about 8 calories. Not true! lol. It's only 2 calories. So yeah, I'm glad I haven't drank the broth like coffee.

The awesome thing is, though, I can't drink the bouillon broth like coffee or tea because my body won't let me. It already feels like too much all at once. I just take small sips. This one cup is lasting so long that the broth has already become cold, lol. In about an hour, I will have my 5 bites of dinner. Doing so will provide my body will the 5 hour break between lunch and dinner.

Today has been a good day. Smile

I decided to have my 5 bites about 45 minutes ahead of schedule because I just want to go to bed (I started my day late). And I feel full! I love that. I put the rest of the bouillon in the fridge.

The broth is an excellent idea to take the edge off with barley any calories.

Lol Ella, yes, I'm definitely preparing myself with as many tricks as possible Wink

Today has gone very well.

I decided to make today a simple fast. So, no bites today, just coffee in the morning and water throughout the day. I'll have some tea before bed, I'm sure.

Tomorrow, back to counting bites! Very Happy

Possible menu for tomorrow: sardines, leftover tuna fritter, and banana maybe?

Lol, I get you! And thank you :-)

I'm going to try this recipe that I found: frozen banana and peanut butter bites! So, going to slice up a banana, stick two slices together with peanut butter, then put them in freezer to freeze. These should be tasty and slow to eat as frozen food just takes longer to eat.

I can't wait until 7 days pass so I can post links to the awesome recipes that I've found! bounce

Oh, you are right on the money! The original recipe calls for them to be dropped in chocolate, but I have none at the house right now, and rather not tempt myself with a purchase lol! Next time I go shopping, I'm buying some unsweetened cocoa powder and coconut butter to make my own version of chocolate for this recipe and for... well, to eat lol!

Also, I saw a recipe for "chocolate":

cocoa powder + milk (almond, dairy, your choice) + sweetener of your choice = cook these together, then freeze the mixture. Supposedly, it tastes like a candy bar (but less calories). And you can add other things, like raisins, nuts, coconut, etc.

Oh I get you, blaqpepa. Fasting definitely isn't for everyone. My fast went well, though, and seemed to help my insomnia as I finally fell asleep at a decent hour.
