Re: Jens Journey
I am so happy for you that you are doing so wonderful. I wanted to say thank you for your support as I am on my way. I will drop in from time to time but will not be here daily due to some family issues I have to take care of. I will be back soon and yes my weight will be less. I am determined to make my new year sing in a size 10 - 12 ... Yay
Again thank you for your support.
Debbie

Don't give up on yourself! Even if you eat more than five bites, you will continue to lose weight. Find what works for you in the long run. Personalize this, and stay positive!

Re: Jens Journey
No problem, slimjen! I'm going to ask you a few questions that I asked myself.
First question, do you enjoy intermittent fasting? By that, I mean do you like having a certain amount of hours each day where you don't eat and limiting your eating to another set of hours?
If the answer is yes, there are a lot of different kinds of intermittent fasting plans out there. The point of 5BD is not to stick to the 5BD in my opinion, but to do what you can to lose weight and keep it off. 5BD can be super fast, but once you are at a certain bmi (for me between 21 and 22) and have less body fat, it's really difficult! There is Alternative Day Fasting, the Warrior Diet, etc. 20/4, 19/5, 16/8 (fasting window/eating window). And they all produce results.
Do you like counting bites? Can you add a few extra bites to each meal? You will still lose weight. There is no doubt about it.
Also, maybe stop weighing yourself every day? Once a week might make things less stressful. Focus on how your clothes feel.
