Yesterday did get better and most of today hasn't ben to bad but I was craving bad about 2 hours ago but it's better now so I've gotten thru Friday Saturday and the majority of Sunday and just had the bite of breakfast out of the 5n5 and that's really good. Because weekends are so difficult but still got the rest of tonight gota stay focused

Thanks ladies today made 14 days and just the one extra bite Saturday. but its getting harder to stay focused mabe I'm just tiered but last night and tonight I'm having to fight the urge to eat more mabe I'll just go to bed usually I can go to bed craving and wake up feeling fine so I think that's what I'm guna try tonight I made it thru the weekend and thought today wood be better.

You know those really tough cravings/mental blocks hit me about every 14 days too! what is up with that?? Its like our bodies will play along for 12-13 days then it just doesn't relent until we cave! There may be something to this!

So I got thru yesterday and today was alot better then my sister text. Me and wanted to have beers so we did and I first planned to just have beers then changed to whatever and I have eaten way to to much but I will do better tomorrow yesterday

spryng have u gone much past that 12-13 day mark to see if it got ezer again. I felt like mabe I had. gotten past it but ended up going off the diet anyways but the cravings seemed to be gone but they seam to come in waves for me so mabe one was coming again. Also at that 12 -13 day point did u take the day off of the diet or just a meal? it is odd that it gets so difficult at that point for both of us.

No I haven't gotten past it Dmac, I usually cave every 12-14 days for one meal. I don't take the day off just usually one meal but I have taken the day off before and basically just two meals, I don't snack or anything still. But yeah that is the only way I found to get past it is to give in to it which I know isn't probably the best answer but its overwhelming! Its something so physical as well and mental at that point. It's weird, LOL

It seems each wave got worse I'm wishing I would have fought through it because tomorrow is my weight in day and now instead of loss I could see a gain but hopefully still have a loss. I'll know tomorrow. Very Happy

congrats on the loss!!!! Keep up the great work! Yeah I'm gonna have to fight through those two week craving sessions as well just to see if it will go away on its own. I really need to buckle back down as well. Seems the longer we are on this plan the more mentally difficult it becomes, its no longer physical at all but a mental battle, I wonder why that is?? But anyway, congrats and I'm looking forward to following you this week Smile

I'm right there with ya DMAC! 24 days isn't that long and think how much better thanksgiving is gonna taste when we get there Smile I think we should also reward ourselves something if we go a solid 24 days being 100% on plan, like a new outfit or new electronic gadget or something fun and non food, LOL what do you think? a little extra something to keep us motivated Smile

I think the non food reward is a great idea I'm thinking new phone I have the original Motorola Droid thinking the new Motorola bionic unless something cooler comes out between now and Thanksgiving Very Happy

I love the non food item as a reward also. I also have the droid and would love to get an iphone again. My husband talked me into a droid and I do like it but I really do want my iphone back. I hope you can reward yourseld with the bionic. I think that youre doing a fantastic job and look forward to the Xmas challenge with everyone Smile

My wife just got a new I phone and she loves it I was thinking about one but I'm so used to the Droid. and Verizon doesn't do I phone in 4 g

Thanks starbucks My little brother was texting me all night trying to get me to go to a party with him he lives. About an hour frum my house but the party is just a few blocks frum my house. But I kept making excuses for not going then he came over with some of his friends frum the party and I still didn't drink or anything with them but I feel like a dud. It sucks u gota put off things like that. But he does call me his little big brother now. I've always ben bigger than him until the last 3 years or so. he was always skinny.as a kid. and I was always fat or at least husky. But him and his friends probably think I'm a dud

Don't feel like a dud, remember this is just temporary! Once you hit your goal you can start adding in more bites and having some drinks again. I think that is one part of this diet that is really hard, no alcohol at all. At least with food we can have 5 bites of the fattiest, sweetest, high caloric items we want, if that is what we want but the absolute no calories in our drinks is hard because I miss my lattes and occasional glass of wine. You'll be at goal much faster than I will so look forward to being able to have those things back, I probably won't get a real drink until april of next year.. sigh.. sucks but I keep saying, this is just temporary! I hope, LOL But your willpower last night is commendable! Pat yourself on the back because I know how tough that was to do! 18 more days until thanksgiving, we can do it!

Good job on not taking that drink!!! I am sure that you are are just as fun to be around without drinking. I seem to have a love hate relationship with alcoholic drinks. I love that they look so lovely whether it's a glass of red wine or a mixed drink, but I never think the drink tastes as good as it looks...
