Re: Connie's Corner
Hi all! Today I have finally broken the 150 barrier. I was at 149.5 today! Lost a total of 9 lbs so far and it hasn't even been two weeks on the 5BD!
Yes, dmac, hubby is still doing the diet. He is now at 5 lbs lost. We had a little blip with him. He got all moody because he felt deprived and such. I explained that his body will be eating the food he ate months ago to sustain itself. I told him that in the past we had over indulged (proof is in our larger clothing) and now we are eating less so that our bodies can use up our excess weight. He will now be eating 1-2 ounces of food every 3 hours. A hard boiled egg, then a couple hours later, maybe a piece of string cheese, after that a tiny salad...Now, he feels better about the diet. Then we can gradually increase our food until we start to gain. We then back off and maintain!

Re: Connie's Corner
OK been crazy busy and YES I ADMIT I FELL OFF THE WAGON FOR TWO DAYS! SO DID HUBBY!
Anyways, here's the stats, gulp...158.5/153/118.
I forgot his, but they are just about the same as me!
I don't know what led to the bad behavior..Wait, yes I do! I was hosting an open house and I made a huge pot of chili and pumpkin muffins and such. It is a great recipe and I just couldn't resist the taste. Brought the leftovers home and hubby had a big bowl. The next day we had more. Then to add insult to injury, we ate a LARGE pizza by ourselves yesterday. UGH! Am I hopeless? Really, am I?
Today back on the horsey.

Re: Connie's Corner
It's nic to know that on this diet you can fall off the wagon and then go back to the 5 bites. I have been on diets before that suggest if you fall off the wagon to begin at the start even if youve already been on the thing for a month. that was always so discouraging to me so when I fell off I stayed off. I haven't been on the diet for long and I did "suffer" the first three days, but as today is my fourth day I am doing much better. Just reading your posts helsp inspire me to stay on track.

Hubby 241/232/215
Now I am thinking where I could have been had I not gotten off plan. My birthday is coming up in the next
week and I wanted to be in the 130's. Darn it!
