Ok, I have lost 2.4 lbs. When I done counting bites earlier this year, I was losing really well at 38 bites per day or so. I lost close to 30 pounds in close to 2 months! Alas, I gained it back, but I am back again. When you first dont succeed, try try again.

Starting wieght was 200.8
current weight is 198.4

My plan is a little more liberal than 10 bites a day. Its 5 to 10 bites or less per eating time, eating when I am Hungry (stomach hunger)

Breakfast: 10 bites of leftover pizza and some Wheat thins 10:13 AM

2 bites of mashed potatoes and ham 1:39 am

2 bites mashed potato/ ham 2:25 pm

1 bite pea salad 4: 45 pm

25 bites plus around 5:30 pm

14 bites around 12:30


tOTAL BITES FOR DAY 54 BITES

Well I got on the scales this morning and I was down! 196.6!!! Thats 4.2 lbs down I went over 10 bites at supper. Hopefully I can do better today. IT seems to work to have less bites on everyday meals (in this case 10 or less) and then when I eat out I allow myself to eat more (18-25) without going too overboard, it still allows me to lose. It also feels like a treat to me to be able to eat more bites when we go away for meals. This only happens once a week average or less usually.

Also I want to mention I am doing Leslie Sansone walking dvds/ online videos. It really seems to make the weight come off faster!

licked my finger at 9:15 am or so

2 miles or so leslie sansone!

3 more miles Leslie sansone

18 bites breakfast or so

2 large mouthfuls popcorn

25 bites supper or so 5:30 pm

Total Bites for day.... 45 bites

Stepped on the scales this morning and I was 195.8 . 5 lbs down

I walked 5 miles yesterday and that is my goal for today.

Also, I went to bed on an empty stomach!

Today I am going to help my Mother in law clean, so I will eat there, and count my bites.

1 1/2 miles or so today

10 bites breakfast

12 bites snack

25 bites lunch

1 bite snack

I don't know one person who diets 100% so that is all you can do, if you go off plan just get back on the very next meal Smile Keep up the great work!

Thanks Sprng Well I am back on track now. I will post my wieght loss when I get below 195.8 which was a 5 lb loss.


I really need to get serious now! DH says we can let pg happen 8 months or so after I get to my goal wieght!! Plus my sister is getting married and I am working in her wedding and I want to make a skinny dress.

Those are definitely motivating reasons to stay on track! I'm with you all the way.. we are thinking of doing Vegas in April for our 14th anniversary and I totally want to wear a tiny size 4 black dress... so that means I need to clean up my act on the weekends. I just got into a size 8 so I have at least 20-25 lbs more to go to get down two more sizes, but we can do it!

Well Im down to 188.2 lbs this morning! 13.2 lbs down


I am doing mostly just 10 bites at a time at home, which ends up being 20-30 bites per day usually. ALso I am doing 3-5 miles per day average 6 days a week!

I am down to 182 lbs this morning. I am eating around 20 bites per day. I had 22-23 or so yesterday. I am going to try to do 5 bites at a time today, when I have a stronger hunger signal.

I gained and lost and gained and lost and one of the number I saw on the scale this morning was 180.8

Today 5 bites of donut

Lunch 8 bites or 9 of lasagna cookie tuna noodle casserole

Cool, we are almost the same weight. I started the 5 Bite plan last Wednesday, 2/29 at around 183lbs. Good luck to both of us!

I had 19 bites or so yesterday. As I get lower, my body needs less and less.
