This is my first time trying this diet. I was skeptical at first, but after doing a whole lot of research, I'ved decided to try it. My starting weight is 234.8. I've decided to try this in small goals. My first goal is to lose 10lbs in 1 week. My long-term goal is to get down to 135. I hope to accomplish this by the end of the year. I purchased Dr. Lewis' book. I have read it all the way through and found it motivating. I really need to follow through with this. I'm hoping this weight comes off quickly. My problem is going to be motivation. I will need alot of it. And I'm hoping you guys will encourage me to keep going, when it gets hard to handle.

Welcome! I agree, Dr. Lewis's book is very motivating. I look forward to seeing you around here.
