I'm So New to This!
Hey-yoh!
My name is Kriz, I'm 18, and starting this diet today.
Any tips I should know before I dive head first?

Hi Kriz, and WELCOME!!
Have you read Doctor Lewis' book, Why Weight Around? or seen the Doc's interview with Gregory Mantell on You Tube (Link:The Five Bite Diet)?
Those would be my first suggestions. The video's only 25 minutes, and the Doc covers most-everything.
If you found your way here, you probably know the basics:
My personal tips would be:
I hope this helps, some. Keep us informed.
Blessings,
Marc
P.S. Last Tip: ALWAYS COPY YOUR POST BEFORE you either [PREVIEW] or [SEND] it. If you lose your Network connection, your Post isn't Auto-Saved and you'll have to re-write it... Like I just did

Those would be my first suggestions. The video's only 25 minutes, and the Doc covers most-everything.
If you found your way here, you probably know the basics:
- NO Breakfast.
- FIVE Bites for Lunch
- FIVE Bites for Dinner
- Drink Zero Calorie liquids to your heart's content
- At Least One Bite of Quality Protein a Day
- Take One multi-vitamin & mineral tablet or capsule each day
My personal tips would be:
- Eat REAL FOOD. Unless you LOVE diet / nutrition bars, just avoid that stuff. That's not what this Diet is about. We're learning to Eat Like real live Thin Folks.
- A "BITE" is what a Bite has always been. Don't try to Over-Compensate with big 'mouthfuls" for what seems like Very Little Food.
- Until you've Reached your Goal Weight, avoid soups and other liquid foods (protein shakes, ice cream, yogurt). A "Spoonful" doesn't really EQUAL a "Bite." And the liquid leaves the stomach faster than solid food, which could confuse your Hungerstat, and leave you "hungrier" sooner than you'd like.
- Take some pictures of yourself (or get someone to take some) -- my hideously embarrassing "Before" shots won't be so embarrassing when I put them up against my "Afters"
- Take your multi-vitamin & mineral WITH Lunch or DInner. This keeps you from getting "chemical tummy" and its after-taste.
- Start a Daily Journal. This Helps us to Help you.
- Maybe join the latest "Ultimate Challenge" which is about Getting to Your Goal by The Last Day of Summer (59 Days from today).
I hope this helps, some. Keep us informed.
Blessings,
Marc

Awe thank you everyone! It's SO hard to get going, I slip up a bit, but I'm working on it. And I don't feel like a beached whale after I eat. I feel satisfied.
