At what speed do you eat your five bites?
Eat fast or eat slow?
I read in a comment somewhere on the forum that Dr Lewis says to eat your food quickly to be done with eating.
But then I'm sure we have all heard that it takes the receptors in the stomach 20 minutes to realise it has been fed.

In the book, on page 93
Eat your five bites quickly and deliberately, and then move on to some other past time.

Re: Eat fast or eat slow?
I always eat fast! I was the youngest of 9 kids, and when one of my older brothers or sisters where done with their food they would aim their forks at mine. So if I wanted to get mine I had to eat fast.

Re: Eat fast or eat slow?
I have tried eating slowly before, and to be honest it doesn't make any difference to me except that eating slowly makes it more of a 'thing' for me. I took the advice to eat quickly since stating 5BD, not rushing but not waiting between bites and I found it actually helped. We get 5 bites so why spin it out is what I think!!!
