Hello~ I'm gonna try and keep up with the posting. Don't know yet if I can stay consistent with keeping a journal so I think I'll just stick with this. I'm with you in this challenge Elle so hopefully it helps to motivate you a bit! Lets keep doing this!

Well I made it to day 4. Honestly this is a huge record for me. I could barely even make it past day 1, let alone now be on this diet for 4 days. Even though I kind of did fall off a little bit on day 2, I decided to brush myself off and see what I can achieve within a week of doing this. Though I do need to work on drinking more water, which I hope helps with the headaches. Anyways, heres to me and you Elle, reaching our goals!

Well I found that when I had to deal with a lot of homework yesterday I felt like I earned the right to eat a bunch of food. I got my usual, which is a lot of food from Wendy's. I got like 2 medium fries and like 2 1/2 lb double burgers. It tasted pretty good but omg, my stomach hurt so bad! My stomach seems to have adjusted to the smaller intake of food after just 1 day or so. I am not letting myself overeat like that again. Though I was lucky enough that when I stepped on the scale, I had actually lost a pound from that binge, though I did eat the 5 bites for lunch.

Wow.. that is amazing.. you still lost.. I cheated and gained.. lol.. Great Job you.. good that your stomach is getting smaller.. will help with eating smaller.. yay

Thanks but even though I lost, I did not feel good about the over stuffing. It feels better to eat less since that really hurt. And good job to you too! Remaining the same is also good too instead of gaining.

I know how you feel.. its normal.. when you have been on this diet for a few weeks.. then you will feel stuffed with just a apple.. lol.. Good job for knowing it now..you will not repeat it then.. Yay

So even though I know not to overeat, I still did it yesterday and today. I ate a bunch of pizza yesterday and a whole chicken tenders sub today. Even though I've been overeating, I find that I get super full on such little food now. I like not being stuffed but I find I also kind of like the feeling of overeating too, so its very hard to choose the former. I am starting fresh since I think I might dislike the overfull feeling a little bit more now, its just being hungry is so hard! I swear I feel for starving people. It makes me want to gnaw my arm off but I'm going to try super hard to make it through 3 days of 5 bites. I'll post my weight again tomorrow.

If you are feeling this is to hard love.. change it up to 600 cals.. its the same at 5 bites x2.. then you can eat some low cal foods in more normal sizes.. You can find many meal plands on line.. eat at your favorite places.. just stick to you 600 cals..

I have a question though. Is it normal to be fluctuating so much in weight on this? One off day and all of a sudden you gain back 2 of the pounds you lost? Does the weight that you lose ever become permanent or do you have to deal with this even when you get to your goal weight? I just wonder if this is alright because it seems to cause a yo-yo effect which can cause you to gain even more weight after you have lost it.

It most likely water retention.. It will be gone when you release the water.. are you drinking enough? When I do not drink enough I do not lose.. just a thought:D

I'm so happy!!
Like I said, yesterday night something finally mentally clicked for me and I suddenly felt like I CAN DO THIS. Technically it was DAY 2, but I felt like i hadn't done well @ all and was going to weight today to see where I was as a "starting place".
DAY 1: 143 LBS
DAY 2: mental click (also, thank you diet coke! you're a life saver)
DAY 3: 140 LBS!!!
YAYYYY!!! So my efforts were better than expected.
I have this thing (& others might too) about weight brackets. Like, the 60s, 50s, 40s, 30s...etc... I use to be stuck in 60s and broke through. And most recently 40s. So this is a BIG DEAL for me to finally break on through the 40s and get far away the edge.
Wish m luck! I'M GOING TO DO IT!

I'm a little in shock. I spent last night & this morning on way to weigh myself saying "it's okay if you didn't lose. Yesterday was hard. You lost inches" and then saying, "NO! Don't do that. You did well, and you're going to have lost."
Additionally, I talk in posts about 140lbs being hard to get past for me. I always get stuck. But WOW! I did it.. I'm really in the 30s.
By next Tuesday I can get to 135lbs, which I don't think I'll feel "safe" until I do.
Social event tonight & tomorrow! Wish me luck; right now its really important to stay focused!
Still having cravings & hunger, but the scales keeping me going!!!
