Hello all,

My name is Andrew, I'm a 36-year-old guy living in NYC. I'll be starting the 5-bite-diet today. My first weigh in will be after work. I'm guessing I've got 90-100 pounds to lose.

My ideal plan is to stick to the diet as closely as possible until I reach my goal weight. No cheat days. I realize there will be some days where it's just not possible to stick to 5 bites for a meal and on those rare occasions I will make an exception. But I won't think of them as "cheat" days or it will become a "eat-whatever-the-F*#k-I-feel-like" day. They will just be days I eat slightly more in social situations so as not to look silly or rude. I realize this is not the easiest diet to stick to, but I also believe it's probably one of the most effective. So it will be worth it.

I'll be starting a daily check-in thread later and plan to update it daily.
