Right here goes, I'm starting tomorrow. I'm so excited about feeling and looking slimmer. I have a wedding in July which I'd love to be down a couple is sizes for. I'm nervous at the same time because I have a but of an issue with binging so I'm hoping ill be able to control it. I'm so sick and tired of being this size.

Hi Ani33! I too am a binge eater and honestly after doing this for 3 days only- i feel much more in control over my food. You may feel a bit hungry at first- but i understand after the first few days that will go away . Im looking forward to that! Good luck- we are here for you!

Don't ever sweat the spelling- everyone has trouble with that at some point! Glad you are excited - this is the first time in a long time that I am also excited! I think this could really work!

Right well day 1 underway, it's 15.50 here and I have to be honest I have eaten all my bites for today. Still I'm not worried, I'm confident I can fast the rest of the day. I can't wait to feel a little slimmer, I feel so bloated at the moment.

You can do this you have a goal. If you get very hungry in the evening just go to bed early. I do that a lot these days were I usually stay up till midnight or longer Laughing

That's what I do. Go to bed a bit early. It truly helps the night munchies. Which I get a lot. Nighttime is the hardest for me. But seeing the results on the scale are worth it. Nothing else has worked for me. But this does. I am a true believer!

Well yesterday was good and I lost 2 lbs, today is a bit harder but it is my birthday so I'm going to allow a few extra bites - no more than 15/20 for the day though and straight back to 10 tomorrow. Hope everyone else is doing well, it's a beautiful day here in Ireland !

Happy Birthday Very Happy

It's your birthday, it's only once a year so a couple bites more are understandable.
Have great day !

I was just thinking about the scales, I normally work in stones and pounds, but I'm working in just pounds because I have no attachment to just pounds whereas each stone has memories etc attached to it, which tends to annoy me leading to binging etc.

Well that is the first week done and its been far from perfect, I had my birthday and a wedding, but it was still a huge improvement for me and I have lost 5 lbs. So this week I have no distractions and am determined to stick to it 100%.

I feel a tiny bit better already! I can't wait to be under 200!

Congrats on your loss! Especially when facing occasions that normally bring temptation to eat lots of tasty food!!!! I think it is awesome you were able to be flexible on those occasions and even though you were not "perfect," you could hop back on track! I had a slip up and I know that there will be those times - I am just not going to allow a slip up to get me down. Smile Yea! 5 pounds gone!!!

Thanks cin123, it's usually very unlike me, if I feel I've 'slipped' I usually binge for ages, I just really really think this could work and I really want it, some of the diaries here are so inspiring, aren't they? Thanks for pooping by Smile

Hi ani! And happy belated birthday! Wow- you are all the way in Ireland! So crazy how this plan brings us all together. I live in Southern California- right down the street from Disneyland! Keep up the good work- we are all rooting for you! This really works- I am a hopeless dieter who hasn't ever had great success for long on other plans- but this one has flipped a switch for me- I feel truly hopeful for the first time in a long time- this really works if you can get through it. After completing 11 days- I am down 16 pounds! A miracle! Keep posting and have a beautiful day in Ireland!

I have that same behavior too if I slip - congrats for overcoming it.

The diaries are inspiring and the people here are great and supportive. Some online forums for diet are pretty harsh at times - this one is way different.

Thanks for the support, it is so nice here isn't it! Tammyjim I would love to go to Disneyland some day, I have 3 boys (2,4& 6) so I better get saving to bring them in a few years!

Yesterday went well, I'm still averaging about 12 bites per day instead of 10 but I can live with that. I'm going to try and avoid weighing till Friday this week.
