Day 1
B- nothing
L-5 bites of chicken leftover from dinner at 99 last night and 1 glass of crystal light
D- 5 bites barbecue chicken wrap and water
I will most likely have some more water before I go to bed and that will keep me from being hungry

I forgot to mention that every morning I take a multi vitamin and an omega 3 balanced health vitamin. and at night i drink a glass of sugar free Metamucil (20 cal) just to keep me regular. I know its not a 0 calorie drink but i need it and I think it helps.

D- 4 bites chef salad with Italian dressing and 1 bite bread with butter and crystal light fruit punch

It was a chef salad so I pretty much just ate the lunch meat and cheese with a couple pieces of lettuce

Hi Lexi, I have PCOS and I have found that eating high protein, low carb works well for me. If I eat carbs, I feel a lot hungrier. I am here to support you and I know how challenging PCOS can be.

thanks! I tried doing the low carb thing but I find that when I can't eat something I begin to crave it. The 5 bite diet works for me because I can eat what i want just small portions and I really dont feel hungry. I tend to eat out of boredom rather than hunger anyway.

L- 5 bites of turkey sandwich on white bread with lettuce and tomato, salt and pepper. and unsweetened acai berry iced tea w/ splenda
D- 5 bites leftover barbecue chicken wrap ( the same leftovers, I did throw the rest out, theres only so many days you can eat the same thing) and crystal light fruit punch
I did weigh myself even though I said I would wait til sat.
Starting weight = 196.4
current weight=192.6

Day 4
ok I screwed this one up . I spent the day with my dad at the casino and he really wanted to have the buffet for lunch even tho I protested. I finally gave in and decided I would treat it as a holiday. I ate what I want but stopped when I felt full. I didnt eat nearly as much as I would have normally not on the 5bd but definitely more than 5 bites. then I went right back on the 5bd. I wasnt going to eat dinner after the buffet but my husband wanted to go out, so 5 bites it was.
B- water and vitamins
L- 3/4 of a plate of mashed potatoes, broccoli, meatball with sauce, roll with butter and diet coke
D- 5 bites of a turkey bacon bravo from panera bread. unsweetened iced tea with 1 splenda and a unsweetened acai berry iced tea with 1 splenda.

Good job getting right back on track with the diet! Your cheat didn't sound that bad either...You're doing great...keep on going! ))

Your meal at the buffet sounds like you'll have a great concept of how to eat once you are at goal so it was a great practice session and I'm sure it didn't set you back much at all
