I am starting this diet now and going for the rest of the month. 30 days is not too bad since I am big on taking my vitamins and supplements. I will be doing this in secret because people tend to try and feed me when they see I am losing weight or dieting. The less they know, they more successful I am with the diet. If anyone ask, then I will say I am doing more cardio.

Thanks for the congrats. I have a birthday coming up on the 29th. I am currently at 180 now so I guess I will do it until the 28th. I am starting tomorrow AGAIN. However, I am going to provide myself with a list of foods to take to the market that I can eat in 5 bites. When you fail to plan, you plan to fail. Wink

Thanks for the encouragement. I have been thrown off by my job since I work nights and I never know when I am going to have a day off. I started the diet AGAIN today. I am trying to keep my fridge stocked with finger foods because buying a whole list of food could have a bad outcome. So today I had a tuna sandwich and split it to make up lunch and dinner. I was 183 yesterday and today the scale says 185 so I don't know what is going on with my body. I guess I can try.

You can do this as long as you don't give up. If you fall just get up and keep going.

Bellydancer's Journal Empty Back again...trying to do 60 days now...

Post  bellydancer Tue Feb 03, 2015 1:37 pm

I came in here 2 months after turning 38. I felt old and lonely and blamed my weight. However, there are people larger than me that aren't alone and have their own families and know how to make friends. I am just an awkward lady. So I figure I can do stuff without caring about my size and whatever happens, happens. Here is what inspired me.

I have been through many changes since my last post. Lost a job, found a job. Started dating, stopped dating. Stopped working out, started working out. However, yesterday I began the five bite diet. I couldn't go cold turkey. I am doing 10 bites for lunch and 10 for dinner the first 3 days. This way I gradually ease into the process without binging after 3 days. I know I can make past 3 days on 10 bites. Hope I have more good news to write about Saturday. Thanks for everyone responding to my thread.
