Hi,
I'm kinda new here, been lurking since first of year! I love reading u guys post! I have been losely playing with program an lost 15 lbs since first of year! Plan 2 commit 4 the month of March and with any luck mayb I can change my eating habits 4 life....
I'm 48 and a housewife no kids and love junk food! I don't eat large meals, I just eat all day !

GW was chose because of Dr Lewis book, will b reading book again 2day. I also swim and do yoga 4 days a week ..

It's day 1 and off 2 a good start, I feel really good about this diet! But I don't want 2 plan my day 2 much.... 1 meal @ a time, so I will return later for a detail on my 5 bites!

I will say I passed on the doughnut and coffee after my swim this morning, and got a life water instead, which was 0 cal... Will have coffee later so I can make it till lunch. Swimming makes me hungry Twisted Evil

You might be better off to not exercise for a bit till you are fully in a ketonic state? This might help with the tummy grumbles Very Happy

Thanks, no exercise till Monday ! Which I usually take weekends off from the gym.. Saturdays normally date day for my husband an I .. Movie day ( the bucket of popcorn will b a true test) plan 2 take a snickers bar alien

Day 1 - well I survived even though my DH took me 2 a pizza buffet 4 dinner Shocked got 2 love him!

45 min morning swim
B- coffee w/ 2 single Heath bar creamers (60 Cal)
L- 5 bites bagel w/ peanut butter & jelly
D- 4 bites spinach Alfredo pizza, 1 bite cinnamon roll

Unsweetened tea , diet soda & flavored water all day

Feel good, my bites were probably alittle big, but I want 2 focus on 5 bite meals first.. Then smaller bites!

Thanks guys, ur support is a blessing from above! My DH thinks I don't need 2 lose weight, because I do have some muscle an he thinks I am fit... According 2 the book any belly fat is dangerous so thats my goal, 2 shed belly fat! I do feel lighter this morning, so I had 2 WI...

SW- 163.6
CW- 161.0
- 2.6 lbs on Day 1 bounce Very Happy

Now I know I can pass on the bucket of popcorn @ movies 2 day!!!
But I will let DH hide scales till next Friday...

Have a wonderful day my friends and will b back 2 nite with my 5 bites !

Day 2
2 gummy multivitamin
B- coffee w/ 2 single creamers
L- snickers (2.07 oz)/ coke zero
D- 4 bites cheeseburger / 3 bites fry

Unsweetened tea & diet soda during day, mayb a herbal tea later...

Snow I'm with u on popcorn, it's a weak spot 4 me! So I was determined not 2 touch it, with fear that I might not stop! It was tough.. Especially when we first sat down my DH hands me the whole fresh bucket 2 hold while he went 2 men's room affraid
But I just pictured it as being a bucket of fat ( yuck) ...
Then at dinner I had a couple extra bites, deserved that after smelling popcorn forever! But I threw away half of my meal ( brought it home 4 stray cats) normally I would have ate the whole thing! My favor number is 7, so if I cheat I stick with 7 bites.. Thinking mayb that want mess up my hungerstat 2 bad!

I survived date nite! cheers

Sound like you did GREAT!!.. I had a few more bites on my lunch to.. I was on the phone and realized it later.. eeek.. So no talking on the phone while eating.. got it..lol Razz
