Daryl's 5Bite Diet Journey
Hi everyone! So good to be back, I've been MIA for a while because... I gave up Hopefully this time round will be much better, as I always hope. This time I'm getting ready for a goal: I want to go down to 108lbs in 4 weeks, which according to Dr. Lewis is definitely possible. I am currently 5"5 at 128lbs. I need to get ready for a huge party in my home at Hong Kong.
I plan on eating 3 meals a day, with 5 bites for breakfast, 7 bites for lunch and 7 bites for dinner. Just FYI, I am in high school and am 17 years old, so I do need a bit of food in me to concentrate etc. Hopefully with time I can reduce that even more to 6 bites for lunch and dinner.
BUT I'm going to need you guys to help me, so please please please do so!

Hey Daryl!
Welcome to the forums
You have all our support!
But just wondering (i don't usually work in pounds lol) isn't 108lbs a bit low since your BMI would go below 18.5 (it would be 18) to be at a BMI 18.5 u would need to be 111lbs... just going by what Dr. Lewis is saying that the ideal BMI is 18.5, thats all... ?
BUT having said that...WE ARE HERE TO SUPPORT YOU!
This is a great place to vent, share success and track your journey!
Good Luck!!

Welcome back Daryl. Wow, the pressure in ON. Everyone in Hong Kong is stick thin so I totally understand your pressure to get to your goal before the big party. I am faced with the same pressures too!
Keep us updated. Best of luck!

Lunch: 7 bites consisting of: tuna and cheese panini, and assorted salad

Re: Phil
Hi Phil,
I guess you're right, and I guess I would be happy at 110 pounds, so I guess thats my new goal! Haha, but the thing is Hong Kong women realyl ARE stick thin, and many are 100lbs at my height, which is actually quite depressing... but I dont really want to look like them, so 110lb is good for me.

Of course I would love to work with you (and everyone else on the forum). I'm not much of a role model myself though since this is my 3rd attempt at the 5BD already. You are right, most girls in Hong Kong are about 100 pounds (some even lower).

Day 5: 27 Sept 2010
Read Dr. Lewis's book last night, and he is just sooo convincing!! Am actually going to do the five (seven for me) bite today and incorporate the no breakfast rule into it. So far, am feeling slightly bit weak, but hopefully I'll be fine later, and I'll just keep chugging down the water.
Breakfast: Green tea
Lunch: 7 bites of tuna and cheese panini, veg, chicken
Dinner: Cheese burger, fries, veg, some chocolate

So nice that you can draw strength from Dr. Lewis's book. Keep up the great work.
