I am on plan and sticking to it. yesterday I had a good 16 pts.. was great.. today I will try to stick to 10-15.. that is only 6-800 calories.. if my hair does not fall out I will stay with that.. lol

B) tea and toast with egg 3pts
L) tuna open faced sandwich 3.5
D) veggie stuffed baked potato 5.5
snacks.. veggies opts and fruit 1pt

13pts in todays menu (about 650 cals).. I know my menu looks way high in calories, but its all half portions so low in calories. Cutting meals in half is great as you can have what you want but keep portions and calories low. Very Happy 

I have a heavy day of work planned. Let's see if I can knock some things of my to do list.

Ladies .. thank you so much. I just got home from my monthly dr apt. and have been asked to drop grain, starches and sugar again. I was on a candida cleanse and it worked but I am already having problems again. Uug affraid  As Snow can tell you all.. I am a baby when it comes to dropping the above grains sugar and starch.. No more feeding the tummy beast.

Sad  pouting over.. uuugh

B) tea
L) chicken salad
D) meatloaf with broccoli
sn) cheese chips with salsa and or celery with cream cheese

I can tell you all that I am not on a low carb diet but eating no grains, starches or sugars kind puts me in ketosis for sure.

K.. gotta get to work..my whole morning has been taken up with the dr.  Cheers All I love you

I went back to dr this afternoon and told her I wanted to try the cleanse again.. I just can not do this no sugar or starch.. grains I can do without.. as I am already gluten free. She is going to order it again and let me have another go.. so I am sticking with pts.. I will do my best to keep my sugar lower as with my starch for now, but I will still have some.

What kind of cleanse are you doing?

Do you have more info about that lady who lost a bunch of weight with ramekin? The link you posted was about someone who tried it for a week at a time..

I am really sick can not even stay up.. my food has been all simple foods.. on plan but not lol

B) fruit tea 1pc of toast with jam
L) 1/3 cup of baked beans
sn) apple sauce 1/3
D) mashed potatoes with mushroom gravy

I am so hungry so I have to eat but I can not eat any dairy or animal products as it hurts my stomach so much.. good thing I was a vegan for many years .. easy to cook for me.

A veggie stuffed baked potato sounds divine right now!
I am feeling somewhat better but I'm not right yet. My diet has been weird and I'm just trying to get over all this before Thanksgiving!

Hi All,

Its just coming up 1:30. I am still sick... it seams to be coming back again.. same with on my daughter uugh pale  I am able to eat though its seams to be in my chest now and head.. eeeek

I went out this morning to pick up some vegan staples and came home to clean out my fridge.. fell asleep on the sofa Sleep and am now having a bowl of pea soup.

B) banana/strawberry and coconut milk smoothie
L) pea soup
D) bean burger with broccoli
sn) hot chocolate and tea

Going back to a vegan diet is really not hard at all.. all the foods I love are mostly vegan. I picked up some vegan rice milk chocolate bars today to make a nice hot chocolate tonight. It tastes very much like milk choc.. with the right mix of milks it tastes like the normal stuff with only 50 calories instead of 200 .. amazing

Yes Vegan is just a full vegetarian.  My daughter is thought to be allergic to milk so we pretty much had dropped milk...less my tea.. Back in my 20's I was a vegetarian ova lacto (eggs and dairy) I become a vegan (no animal products) in my last few years I managed to get cancer.. ?? My dr was surprised as I ate a very healthy diet.. but still got sick.

I have 2 other friends that also lived very healthy vegetarian life styles and also got very ill.. heart attacks.. uugh.. The data out there today is that paleo is winning in the health front. I am just going vegan for health right now.. I am so sick and will not have any animal products to allow anything that causes swelling or inflammation is out. Besides staying around 600 calories is sooooooooooooooo easy when you eat vegan..lol

I was vegan for many years. I ended up sick a couple of years ago - severely anemic, almost no ferritin, severely deficient in B vitamins, etc. I had to have iron infusions for 6 weeks and B-12 shots for a year. My body was just not processing any of the nutrients I was taking in. The doctor said it's possibly because I have a gluten intolerance (gluten gives me rashes and aggravates my IBS, although I am not celiac). I stopped being vegan at that point; it was very depressing to be eating what research pointed to as an ideal diet and still get sick. I waiver a lot now. I eat meat some days and then will go for weeks without. Right now my focus is getting the excess weight off, because I know that is unhealthy, regardless of what I am eating. I am still undecided as to whether I will go back full vegan again or not. I guess we shall see. Smile
