Hey!
Just checking in.
158.5 lbs. most I have ever weighed at 5'2"! pale I want to get to 118. This weight looks good on me. I can't believe it's been such a long time since I was at that weight. A little over a year ago, I got down to 135. Only 20 lbs less than I weight now, but I had still not met my goal. I think I gave myself permission to cheat because I was doing so well. The rest is history, as they say! I yo-yo back and forth and folks don't know if they'll run into the "thin" or "thick" Connie. Once I gained 13 lbs in ONE week on a cruise! And I thought I wasn't cheating
! Seriously, that is how fast I can pack on the weight. Well, I gotta get some sleep. But today I had:

B-one atkins bar
L-One atkins bar
D-5 bites chili & slice of American cheese

Multivitamin, 2 Fish Oil Caplets, water by the sips (so as not to stretch the stomach)

doing great connie, keep it up! omg cruises are the worst for keeping weight in check with all the buffects and 3 course dinners and 24 hour pizzarias!

You are so correct about that cruise weight!

Today I was down 3 lbs when I woke up this morning. I truly am not hungry. But, not really energetic, as I usually am.
This morning I had my vitamins/supplements, water, coffee. Again, I sip this stuff very slowly so as not to stretch the stomach.

so far:
B-one chocolate covered strawberry & 1 atkins bar.
L-one atkins bar. Note-The last piece of it dropped out of my hand onto the ground. I stared at it for a verrrrrrry long time. Okay, nevermind! The strawberry made up for it, LOL!
D-? not sure yet!

3 lbs is a fantastic start!!! Keep up the great work! and the piece of atkins bar on the ground cracked me up. When we only get a tiny bit of food each day I would have been staring it down too! LOL!!

OK, guess what the scale showed today? Another pound! So down to 154.5! Yipppeee-do!
Today, besides my multivitamins, coffee, water & fish oil I had:

B-Atkins bar
L-one small sausage patty topped with poached egg & cheese.
S-Atkins shake
D-McD's snack wrap (threw away most of the tortilla)

158.5/154.5/118

Today I was down to 153! 158.5/153/118

Sometimes I can't wait to go to sleep so I can wake up to the scale! LOL! BTW, tomorrow my husband will start the 5BD!

that is too funny connie, my husband is starting the 5bite diet today too!! I'm excited for him, I know he's gonna just melt those lbs away, lucky men, LOL

and congrats on seeing 153!! I know what you mean about going to sleep just to wake up and see if you've lost more weight. I wake up every morning and think, man I feel skinnier today, lets see what shirts in my closet fit now, LOL getting dressed has been more fun for sure, LOL

congrats connie! yeah i went clothes shopping yesterday and size 8 pants were too loose ! whoop whoop can't wait to be lower size of 6 again. the size 6 fitted but was a bit tight so gonna wait until my goal weight to buy them!

Thanks all! Your progresses inspire us all!

So today 152! 6.5 lbs since Tuesday! This is so great! Another thing is how much money we will save on food!

Stats so far:158.5/152/118

Husband:241/238.5/220 (Since he's a 6"6" man, he'll probably be at goal by this afternoon! Just kidding!)

You two are gonna be the incredible melting couple, LOL! My husband was down 2 lbs this morning as well. I'm so excited for him! He's 5'11 and very muscular so he chose 220 as his goal weight as well. If he loses just 3 lbs a week he can be there by our anniversary in April and we are thinking if we both hit goal we are so gonna plan our 14th anniversary in Vegas!! woo hoo! even more motivation to see this through and buy a really hot dress for Vegas, LOL

OK, first off, Spryng, you are already a hot hottie! When is your anniversary? Ours is 4/15/94.

When do you weigh in? I am anxious to see your progress. I have no idea where you get the will power to wait days to weigh in. I jump on the scale to see if it is different after an eyelash falls out or I blow my nose!

Speaking of clothes. I love to "shop in my closet" for stuff that has not fit right in months. This time, however, I plan to get rid of my big clothes right as I outgrow them, so I can't fit into them if I should gain weight. Then my clothes will be tight on me until I lose any excess weight or spend tons on a bigger size.

Whoopey doo!!!!!!
Went through drive thru. One mini burger each, lol. The other day, we got one tender each at KFC! (We are on the road alot, just in case you wondered) Prior to BD, we would have gotten the humongous burger combos and spent about $14 at Mc's.

It has taken me 3 days to finish a can of veg's. I used to eat a can or half a frozen bag myself for a side dish at dinner. Now I look at all the food we used to consume and say, "Ugh! It looks like we were in an eating contest before. You know-the ones where they consume 800 hotdogs or something. Normal restaurant portions appear nothing short of gluttonous! I heard somewhere (here, maybe?) that we are living not on what we eat today, but on what we ate months ago. Anyway, I like that!

Our anniversary is 4/4/98 so you got me beat by 4 years Wink And as far as weighing I weigh officially each saturday but I do peek a couple times a week, usually weds and fri then my official weigh in saturdays. Just depends on how strong I feel because a bad weigh in really does effect my mood.
congrats on the drive through!! yeah I have 4 kids so I'm not sure I'm saving money on this diet since they can eat me out of house and home, LOL
