Well, I had a terrible week 3, with only 2 days on plan. But I'm not giving up. The holidays are a horrible time to try to lose weight, but I'm going to keep on going. The key for me is streaking as many perfect days in a row as possible. I did not do this last week. This week will have to be better!!!! I just really cannot have 2 naughty days in a row, much less three!!!!! We wont' be going out on my birthday on Wednesday...probably Saturday, so I'm going to try have mini-streak of 4 days until my cousin's wedding and my birthday dinner the following day, then right back on plan all the way to Christmas Day. After that there are NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCUSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so proud of you gals for keeping a at it during the h holidays I can't seem to get back on track but I will its just a matter of when I know the longer I put it off the harder its going to be to get to my goal I just haven't had much fight in me lately but great job everyone that's still trying my hats off to you

Thanks, Debbie! I took the birthday pretty hard: 39! I have been off plan for a couple of days, not what I wanted to do but it is what it is. The wedding is tonight, ugg! The reception is at a bbq restaurant, now that's what I call a Southern wedding with no shame! : ))))) This whole month has sucked big time!!!!! I'm not where I need to be mentally to give this all I've got right now. I've got several more events to attend before the end of the year which will mess me up a lot. Right now my goal is to just stay under 200 until Jan. 1st, then it's all in until it's done one way or the other! That's all I know to do right now!

I've been doing a lot of thinking about what to do. I devoted a year to this diet and really did not accomplish much when all was said and done...not b/c of the diet but because of me and the issues I have with food. I got all the way up to 204 which is pretty much where I started in January 2012. So, when January rolled around this year, I decided to go back to low carbing. I've lost about 4 pounds and am about 201 today. This is just not going to be fast enough so I've decided to combine it with the "No Dinner Diet." Pretty much, you have to eat breakfast and a healthy lunch and then eat no dinner. I have used this plan in the past, but it's just like anything you have to stick with it and it's hard. I just wanted to try something new to kick start things b/c I have not made any lasting progress in the year 2012. I will be 40 at the end of 2013 and I don't want to continue to be fat any longer. We'll see how this goes. I'd love to continue posting here with you b/c I still feel like we're in this together and we essentially have the same goals!

I'm with Debbie just glad you're back and will take you anyway we can get you I think your plan looks good because sometimes you just need a change and if you go back to 5 biting it will be kind of new again to you I think if you can shake he few pounds loose 1 way and change to another if you need to it's all good and you keep changing so you don't get bored but please keep posting here because maybe we can learn something we are all in this together

Well that didn't work!!!!! I could only stand it for about 3 days and I only lost a little.
I've decided to try 7 bites and see what happens. I also started back on the phentermine today. I lost a lot of weight with it in the past. I quit using it because it turned me into a paranoid maniac. But, I'm taking anti-anxiety meds now so I'm hoping they will balance each other out. If I start acting crazy again , I'll quit taking it and just stick with the diet. After a couple of weeks low carbing, I wanted to die, too. So I really think the key is just extreme portion control with 5-7 bites of normal food.

d- 7 bites pizza
