Haha sounds like you are doing wonderful. I got my bike out yesterday- but don't remember feeling so unstable on it before! It's a beach cruiser and I am really short- so my legs don't touch the ground which doesn't help my unsteady feeling! Anyway- great going on your 8 pounds! Hope you have a great Saturday !

I would assume we are burning alot more calories or loosing more fat if we are so weak while riding our bikes.
But I dont think so....lol

Haha me either!! I am just feeling my age apparently! I just need a shorter bike- THAT would help.

Today was much better regarding the diarrhea. Every day this week for lunch I ate a sandwich I made. It was deli ham, turkey, cheese, etc. I think the turkey was bad. Because today I went to subway and had 3inches of a 6 inch sandwich and had no problems yet.... Probably wasn't a good thing eating that turkey,... Laughing

We had 13 family members go out to eat.   Someone picked jethro's. Fried fatty food. If I was still on weight watchers there is nothing here I could eat with low points.    I ordered pulled pork sliders.  I ate one.  Then stopped.  I gave the other two to my husband.  I wasn't even tempted to eat more.   I felt so comfortable and satisfied.    As I watched everyone else eat.   It bothered me.   I  thought to myself.  How could I ever have eaten that much.  Huge platters not just plates. Wow.  Now I never want to go back to eating a. whole platter of food.  It really felt good to stop at a small slider.

That's great! Good for you! It does seem like a lot of food when you are on the outside looking in right? It shows your mind set and your hunger stat have changed!

Congrats! I definitely know what you mean. We went to Cheesecake Factory for Mother's Day and I watched everyone eat their food and nearly finish their plates (and CF portions are HUMONGOUS) and vowed that I would never, ever eat that much food in one sitting again! Especially since my little "small bites appetizer" was more than enough. Think of not only how many calories, but how much money we'll save.  Laughing

this is my journal - Page 2 Empty Uh Oh....not good last night

Post  ControlIt Wed May 14, 2014 3:11 pm

I don't know what happened.  Sad
Yesterday I had no breakfast,
Lunch: 3/4 of a Chicken pot pie.
Dinner about 5:00 PM 1 piece of low calories bread and tuna fish with miracle whip.

Then I headed to the chiropractor and bible study.
I don't even remember thinking about it, I stopped twice, got a piece of taco pizza, then stopped and got a bag of cheez crackers, and a snickers bar... I didn't even think about it...just got it and left.

So, I'm trying to figure out if I was in a hurry or I was tired or what?

Well-sometimes old habits are hard to break- sometimes we revert back to our old ways without ever thinking about it. At least you recognized what you did- even if it was after the fact- so you can be more conscious in the future. It's ok tho- don't beat yourself up- remember - you can still have everything you want - just not all at once !!'
