I wish that was me! I've always just ate.. I always wanted to be one of those people who have no appetite when they are stressed or upset.. course I always wanted to be one of those people who get upset and attack their house with a dustpan and scrubber, lol so needless to say I eat and don't clean enough, LMAO

Food Journal For Thursday, Feb. 2
b- nothing
l- 5 bites broccoli potato cheese soup w/cornbread on top
d- 1 bite sweet n sour shrimp, 4 bites broccoli beef w/fried rice
Notes: I measured my dinner with a 1/4 cup + 1 Tablespoon measure. Then I spread the food out on the plate and took small tiny bites of food. This way I could stretch my 5 measured bites into 15 or 20 bites if I wanted to. I really like measuring the food, that way I can't cheat by taking huge bites. Tonight I'm going to try to plan my Super Bowl menu.

b- nothing

Later I thought how right Dr. Lewis is when he said you never sit around after a meal and think I sure am glad I ate more than 5 bites of that food. I was so glad that I didn't go past 5 bites tonight. I mean you never feel good after you eat too much food only for the short moment when you're eating it. I am really become more aware of this. I wanted to mention again the I love measuring my food, it really is keeping me on track. I measured my lunch, but we went out to dinner and I know I took 5 larger bites than I would have if I had measured it.

Depending on what the food is I either use the Snickers template or a 1/3 cup measuring cup. I'm ordering a silicone 1/3 cup w/no handle that I can keep in my purse in a baggie for when I go out. Using both of these has really decreased my food intake b/c I was taking bites that were way too big.

190 lbs.
I did not lose! But I did maintain a 4 pound loss from last week. One thing that I did different this week was drink a lot of flavored water. I will eliminate that this week and just stick with regular ice water. I remember someone else (Dmac I think) had this problem w/the flavored water. We'll see if that helps. I admit I over did it on Super Bowl Sunday, but I still should have had a loss. Oh, well...on to this week.

Notes: Well, the first day back on after a cheat is always hell! I am soooooo hungry and the truth is I just love food. I am amazed at how just having that one cheat meal could bring back all these feelings! I guess it will take me three days before I can feel the way I felt before that cheat. I measured my food so I know I am getting myself back on track today. Soooooo hungry! Maybe tomorrow will be easier.

I always feel ravenous after an off plan meal as well but it shouldn't take you 3 days to get it back under control, I'm usually really hungry the day after the cheat but the day after that I'm back to normal, it's amazing how our bodies adapt BACK to the 5 bite serving size so hopefully today is better for ya

Food Journal for Monday, Feb. 13
I am NOT logging food today. I just wanted to say that my food intake has been total crap since that stupid Super Bowl cheat. I just can't seem to get back in full swing again. I am sooooo pissed at myself b/c I was doing so well before last week!!!! I have gained 3 pounds. I knew that would happen, I'm lucky it was only 3 pounds. I am going to measure out my food for tomorrow's lunch and try to restart again tomorrow. I am going to increase my protein intake to try and stave off some of this ridiculous hunger. Wish me luck!

I've struggled since then as well I'll get a few days good then a bad. Diet day I think I just gota really focus get a full week under my belt again and then I'll be rolling good again

I am getting my protein back on after these terrible relapses! I am supposed to be low carbing as a way a life according to my doctor b/c of my PCOS. I got tricky and thought I could outsmart my body by only having a few bites of carbs...the next thing I knew I was in full swing binging. I feel pretty good right now and I know it's b/c of my increased protein. Anyway, I finally have one day down since the dreaded Super Bowl downfall.

Notes: I finally got back in the swing today! I weighed in at 194.5 today. So, I have gained 4.5 pounds over the last 2 weeks of not being on plan. I know that I have eaten foods that are not right for my body and I have eaten way too much of those foods. I am focused on high protein, low carb which is healthy eating for my body. I feel a lot better today and I am inspired to continue on and quickly lose this weight that I have gained and go on to lose more.

With only one day back on plan I already lost 2.25 pounds of the 4.5 I gained! I am soooooo encouraged and inspired to continue on! I may even lose enough to get under 190 this week! Dmac & Spryng, thanks for your encouragement! ; ))))))
