Starting date was 4/26/14
Here's my stats: 5' 10" tall
SW-179
GW-150-155
Dream weight-145

I have my multi vit in the morning along with coffee (including ff creamer)
I have 5 bites for lunch and 5 bites for dinner (food choices vary).  I've got to say that 4 bites of bacon cheeseburger and 1 bite of snickers has the most satisfying effect on me.  I feel full and it stays with me for a long period of time.  

Progress...
4/27- 174 (yes a 5 pound loss in one day)
4/28- 174.4
4/29- 172.6
4/30- 171.4
5/1- 5/7 (fell off the bandwagon)
5/8- 173.8 (starting over)
5/9- 171.8
5/10- 170.2
5/11- I didn't weigh myself
5/12- I am not weighing myself today
5/13- 173.6 Sad
5/14- tbd

Good Morning! I have no idea what my weight is after Mother's Day weekend. I allowed myself to splurge a bit by going out to dinner and enjoying a cookout. I wasn't able to eat too much due to my stomach shrinking but I'm sure it wasn't conducive toward my short term goal therefore, I didn't weigh myself.

How'd you do sexy123? Thanks for checking in! Smile

I'm back on the plan today which is tried and true. No more holidays coming up anytime soon so no more splurging! Smile

This past weekend I allowed myself some leniency as it was Mothers Day.
I did weigh myself Saturday morning 4/10/14 at the scale read 170.2.
I did NOT weigh myself Sunday or this morning. I will tomorrow. Hopefully I didn't undo too much progress. So far I'm pretty happy to have lost 9 pounds. I'm back on a rigid plan as of this morning and will keep reporting back here as I progress.

I hope everyone had a nice Mother's Day.

I'm feeling tired. The last couple of days I've had more then five bites which is why the scale isn't showing a loss today. I've been running my kids nonstop with their sports and have seriously been looking for energy anywhere I can get it. It's a crap excuse though and I need to get back on track. Well I've been on track- I just need to be rigid with it like I was my first week. I'm going back to snickers because I know it keeps me true to the portion control part of this diet which is so important. Feeling a bit tired and defeated by my own cravings this morning. This too shall pass- I know.

Try sugar free gum.  When that piece gets stale, pop in another piece.  Sip a drink all day.
Do whatever it takes, but stay encouraged and fight for every pound lost.  You got this!!!

Thanks sexy123. I read the packet of gum I was chewing and found out there are 10 calories per stick and it's not sugar free. YIKES! I am now chewing sugar free gum. Thanks!

I can really tell a difference after losing 8 pounds. My clothes fit VERY comfortably, some are even getting loose. I keep reminding myself of the end goal.

Todays weigh in 5/16/14- 171.0

I know I can do better then my log shows as far as being rigid with my diet/lifestyle change. It's harder with kids and a husband that loves to eat out but not impossible. Will power - I need you right now! Yesterday I did good with 5 bites for lunch and 8 bites for dinner. No snacking and only zero calorie drinks (except my coffee creamer). My plan for the rest of May is to stick to 5 & 5 each day and see where I'm at.  pale

I have the same thing with the coffee creamer. It's to cold here to drink black iced coffee. The creamer adds about 200 to 300 calories a day for me so I try to make it up with having my bites mostly with chicken and not so much fatty foods.
We might take a day longer with the creamer but at least we get to our goal happy. I could not live without coffee - well, at least if I don't have to.

Daani- Agreed...I need creamer in my coffee. I think I'm adding about 100 calories worth each morning. I may switch to black tea because I prefer that without creamer. Maybe that'll push me toward my goal even faster. Do you like tea?

I'm pumped up to get out of the 170's once and for all! 1.9 pounds and I'll be at 169.9...that's my mini goal and I'm trying to meet it by Friday morning when I step on the scale.  Smile

I think it looks good for reaching your mini goal on Friday. Don't like tea very much but once it gets warmer I will drink my coffee with ice cubes and sweetener and then I don't need any creamer.

Daani I thought about tea this morning but stuck with my go to morning coffee with cream. Smile thanks for the encouragement. Today I've had my multi vitamin, coffee, and 5 bites of a tuna salad sandwich. I plan on having a hard boiled egg and 3 bites of biscuits and gravy for dinner. I can't wait to jump on the scale tomorrow. How often do you weigh yourself? I try to log it up top in a previous post every day. I like to see other peoples results too as inspiration to stick to it! Good luck to you.

I try to weigh only once a week. The fluctuations from water retention can be very upsetting, so I give it a few days to see the real weight loss.
Hang in there, it will go down.
