Hi Jesabelle,

Down three pounds is amazing! I hope you're as proud of you as we are.

And that "working out"? You're going for the Gold. Enjoy.

Peace,

Marc

Thanks!!! I really enjoy working out once I get there, but it's surprising the excuses I can create just to not have to go to the gym. thank god for my 16 year old daughter who demands that we go at least 3 times a week Smile

B-Coffee
L-5 bites mint three muskateers bar
D-5 bites steak and potato

Worked out today. 20 on the treadmill and 10 on the elliptical. We also worked out on our legs on a few machines before we left.

That's the WAY!! Very Happy

Are you keeping up with your multi vitamins?

I'm just asking because no one seems to include this in their daily totals, so it's not about you.

Peace and Joy,

Marc

B-Coffee
L-5 bites spaghetti sauce and french bread
D-5 bites mashed potatoes and gravy

I am acually looking forward to my wiegh in for tomorrow-I have really picked up my workouts and am excited that I will soon be wearing my skinny jeans that I haven't worn in soooo long. I don't want to go shopping for myself until after Christmas.

Marc-yes, I do take the multi vitamins Very Happy . I guess I don't list them because I take them right before bed, otherwise I end up with stomach issues during the day pale . I have always had a problem with taking vitamins (with or without Iron) so my doctor suggested taking them before bed, that way I sleep through the sick feeling that they cause :-&. I have noticed since taking the multi vitamins that my nails have gotten longer.

My husband actually called me skinny today What a Face i will post my menu after dinner this evening-I am not going to celebrate with food, but isn't it funny that I kinda thought that I should before I had put my thoughts in perspective??? This is Chinese chicken salad. The dressing is obviously the bulk recipe and I normally add way more soy sauce and rice vinegar than what the recipe calls for, but I think that it is soooo delicious. We have a cafe out here called La Bou and this is their recipe. You can replace the sugar with honey or you might be able to use a sugar substitute, although I just use the sugar Embarassed Also, I think that you could add less sesame oil because it does have a strong taste.

1 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup sesame oil (sounds like alot, but it's not)
1/3 cup rice vinegar
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons dry mustard

Combine all ingredients in a jar with tight lid or a pour top shaker bottle.
Shake to combine well, until sugar is well dissolved.
Put in refrigerator over night.
(I add a bit more soy sauce, for my taste).
Shake well and pour over salad made with: pouched chicken, romaine lettuce, mandarine oranges, snow peas, slivered almonds, seseme seeds, crisp Chow Mein noodles, etc.

My daughter took the pic and it's been awhile that I had a pic where my face didn't look fat so I thought I would post it tongue

I did not work out today...My husband has been off for vacation and I haven't really had time to deep clean the house and since he had an appointment today I was able to spend a couple of hours cleaning and organizing. I will work out tomorrow morning What a Face

B-Coffee
L-5 bites turkey and stuffing
D-5 bites beef and cheese buritto

I am looking forward to things going back to normal. I will miss the holidays, but I am glad that they are over. I am going to set a mini goal for Valentines Day I am shooting for 120 but will be ok, if I can get to 125 by then.

Today was pretty easy. I worked out first thing in the morning(after my coffee) and then came home and started to put away Christmas stuff. I got a few things packed up, but won't put everything away until after the new year.

B-Coffee
L-5 bites beef and cheese burrito
D-5 bites beef and cheese burrito

We went to the movies tonight and saw Sherlock Holmes. I did grab a couple bites of popcorn, but that was it. It was really too salty for my taste. My husband consumed the rest of the bag and the medium drink...

That is great about the popcorn! I mean just think about a couple months ago, we probably would have consumed the entire bag with our spouse just because it was there even if we thought it was too salty or soggy or bland, we'd just eat it! So stopping after a couple bites is a huge feat! I do think this diet helps us be pickier about what we cheat on for sure.. something that isn't delicious sure isn't worth it so we turn down more bad foods Smile

Worked out today-elliptical for 20 and treadmill for 10. I also worked on biceps and triceps. I wish that I had the arms I used to Sad They aren't as bad since I've lost 20 lbs, but each time I glance at them in the mirror I am always shocked that they don't have any definition... Shocked

B-coffee (2 cups)
L and D combined 5 bites of roast beef sandwich and 5 bites sauteed vegtables

We ate around 3:00 and I didn't have lunch, so I just figured if I combined my bites it would be be easier than eating a late dinner when I felt hungry.

Spryng-I totally agree with you-I have become much pickier about what I eat. I only struggle with what I want to eat when it's time and it's normally a struggle with do I want to go sweet or savory? I used to have much more of a sweet tooth, but have found that I tend to choose a protein based 5 bite meal and I just skip the sweet and of course if I want sweet I can alway take one less bite of my protein meal and have one sweet bite. It can be the best of both worlds! What a Face

B-Coffee
L-5 bites yogurt and blackberries
D-5 bites tortilla soup

Today was a bit tough. I thought that I was fine once I ate my yogurt, but around 3:00 my brain started telling me that I was hungry and when I drank tons of water to try and fool my brain I started to feel nauseated and right away I wanted to eat to get rid of that feeling. Suspect Anyway, I managed to get through the pain and ate around 5:00-Boy was I ready for dinner Smile

Yeah I find yogurt doesn't last as long as something with protein in it but trying the water was a great idea! I heard too if you drink warm water or coffee it will fool your stomach, the heat makes it think it's getting a hot meal, LOL
