Long time, no update! Here's the latest, I've been trending down on my weight and a big help has been the Happy Scale App, it helps you break down your ultimate goal into mini goals and it has kept me on track! So my next goal weight is just .6lbs away! Really feels rewarding to tick those boxes and it may help any of you who are struggling to count bites and/or eat small. For me, my starting was 214.6 on March 1, 2022. My ultimate goal weight is 135 and it broke it into 100 mini goals, down 19.3 pounds so far!
Meal#1 - Tuna salad on 6 Pepperidge Farm Harvest Wheat crackers (6 bites), small bag Lay's Original potato chips (160 cals)

Hope everyone enjoyed Christmas! I did not count bites AT ALL while in Myrtle Beach with family. I came back on 12/28 and weighed in at 198.2, so just a gain of about 4/5 lbs. Immediately got back to it, and am already back down a few pounds. The journey continues! I have a wedding in California on 2/19 and want to be as trim as I can be. As of today, that is 51 days away (7 weeks - 4.3 lbs a week, phew!) and I have a lofty goal to lose 30lbs by then. Will continue to eat small and count bites when I can! Most importantly for me will be logging in here, tracking my weight daily on the Happy Scale App, planning ALL my meals (including cheats/pig outs), walking when I can, getting 8 hrs sleep daily AND drinking MORE water. Another tool I've been trying on and off is leaving food on my plate. You don't have to finish everything, even if you leave behind just one bite. This is a tool I've utilized from Corinne Crabtree from the NO BS Weightloss podcast, super helpful!

OOF! didn't log in after another holiday weekend. I can admit that I am much better keeping track during the week in general as well. Whichever! We are BACK on the horse. This weight listed is from NYE morning, Â 12/31 so not fully up to date. I will do my next weigh in this Friday, 1/6 and will try to keep up with daily logins thereafter. Still aiming to lose 30 pounds in 47 days, just under 7 weeks. To keep up with my goal, I need to be in at 190 this Friday! Doing a STRICT 5-10 bite diet this week to get that ball rolling. WOOT WOOT! Also, shark week just started yesterday so I'm feeling bloated, bingey and expect an uptick in my weight this week.

SO as I figured, Aunt Flow has disrupted my weight loss this week but that's ok and expected! Drinking lots of water to minimize bloat in the meantime. Am super grateful I have just maintained this week with no gain, that's a big positive to be happy about. I won't be hitting my 190 goal tomorrow but will keep things in perspective and take this all in stride. Also, adding in some much needed protein. Part of my bloat may be just too many carbs this week and I'm holding on to water weight.

Wahooooo! did not make my 190 goal for my 2/19 weight loss timetable but I'll take this victory! It is officially 44 days away as of today and I now have 28.1 lbs to lose in roughly 6 weeks. Quick math says I need to lose 4.6 PER WEEK to hit that target. Tally that up and my next goal is now 188.5 by next Friday, 1/13. PHEW, have not been in the 180s in YEARS but will not let that number taunt me on the scale, still aiming for my small goals daily whether it be water intake, better sleep hygiene and just listening to my hunger cues. Onward and Upward. Have a date tonight at Mia's Bakery in Brooklyn, so will definitely be having some kind of coffee drink with a pastry, planning for it now so I don't over do it later.

OOF, been all over but still semi-maintaining to stay under 200lbs. Haven't made any significant headway for that 2/19 goal but will do what I can regardless! I've adjusted it to just a twenty pound weight loss until then so a new goal of 175! still lofty as there are only 27 days until 2/19.

LOL, so i've kept adjusting that goal weight for this wedding in 3 weeks. Need to just keep calm on stay on the weight loss train, even though my willpower is doing everything it can to shake me off. Am mostly happy that I've maintained to stay under 200 but def a bit stuck here at 193-198. LOL, so i've kept adjusting that goal weight for this wedding in 3 weeks. Need to just keep calm on stay on the weight loss train, even though my willpower is doing everything it can to shake me off. Am mostly happy that I've maintained to stay under 200 but def a bit stuck here at 193-198. Wahooo! Only .1 lbs from this Happy Scale goal that has been a struggle to get to. Slowly ticking down and ready to be in the 180s! I'v lost 20.5 lbs so far since March 2022. With this in mind, I've thought about starting a social media page documenting my weight loss just to help with accountability and because I'm seeking support that I can't get here lol. Anywho, will check in here time to time, but wishing everyone who sees this the best moving forward.

Wooooo, we are coasting. Have a drag brunch date coming up on 3/25 for my gf's birthday, maybe I can lose 10 by then? It's 23 days away so will definitely need to be more regimented and purposeful with my meal planning. Love having these mini goals along with those set by the Happy Scale app, keeps me focused!

yippee! Finally listening to my hunger more closely these days. I don't feel like I'm "starving" at all. I"m satisfied and already feeling just a bit more energy and a bit more light on my feet. It's a little euphoric actually. Anywho, really want to start documenting with self photos again. Another thing that helps me keep track of progress but also not get too comfortable. It's easy to see a lower number and think that gives you wiggle room to overeat but it doesn't. I've got a long ways to go!
