This was my day in a nutshell. I weighed 153 so I gained omly 3 lbs, was really happy about that. I went to a womans retreat with my best friend so here's what I ate today.
B coffee
L About 5 bites of everything, chicken, salad, potatos, dinner roll, you get the picture
S 1 hotdog on a bun
My eating is done for the day and I feel happy and content!

YAY!!!! Good for you. Again, just take it one meal at a time....one day at a time. Sometimes looking up at the mountain can make that hike up it seem impossible.....

I ate whatever I wanted all weekend and restarted today! I'm not kidding this time around!

I was down 3 lbs this morning. Today at work I felt so sluggish, my job is very active, I'm on my feet for 8 hours or more at a time and walking very fast and sometimes breaking into a run I had 9 bites of a ham sandwich and a handful of chips today. I did feel a surge of energy after I ate. I'm making cheesy ham potatoes for supper and I'm having 5 bites. I'm battling hunger right at the moment but I'm going to take a nap and then make supper. I think my job makes me more humgry what with all the exercise I get.
I haven't weighed 140 in about 3 years so really want to hit that number sooner than later. I'm at 150 now

I'm still working on the science-y post for this, but basically.. When you get really hungry at work (since you are on your feet so much), have you been getting light-headed or nauseous at all?

Josh, yes I do feel light headed a lot.
I will confess here since this is my journal and all I just ate 2 brownies with peanut butter and some baked chips ( my favorite). I'm not eating anymore today and I feel really content with no light headedness and fatigue.

congrats on the 3 lbs down already! I knew they'd be gone in no time and I think if you stick with it you can see 140 very very soon!

I am at 149 today! I'm so excited and dont want to mess it up! I'm eating 2 small meals a day but not counting my bites and it's still working!

Congrats I tried the 2 small meals strategy nd I don't know why but I have been bingeing for the past 10 days, my tummy is always full and its HUGE now so today I am trying 8 bites per meal I hope I can do it again, I have regained 5.5lbs which is not bad considering how much I have been eating the past 10 days!

I'm really liking the 2 meals a day thing. I'm feeling slimmer but no weighing until oct 1. I dont feel deprived and I'm not that hungry.

I recently read about Courtney Cox's diet and she only has 2 meals per day and only coffee for breakfast.

I'm still here! Life is so hectic right now and I'm not watching how I'm eating and still hovering around 150. I really like 2 meals a day but the past week I just snack so much. I really want to get my head in the game and focus. My birthday is Nov 3 and I REALLY want to be in the 130s by then.I still have 4 weeks.

welcome back ewhetstone!!! I think 20 lbs in 4 weeks is doable if you stick to 10 bites per day only...so come on back and post daily and we'll cheer you on!
